An unremarkable day

Today I went to work, worked, drove home and am now getting ready to go to bed so that tomorrow I can do it all again. I didn't cough, though. And my stomach flu appears to be gone.

Paul Westerberg sings "A good day is any day that you're alive." I'd like to add that it's nice, however, when you have a day that doesn't include illness after you've been sick for a long, long time.

Thanks, Manta. I'm much better now that the incessant hacking and, as of about this time last week, the IV drip in the ER are only memories.

Illness really IS depressing. You think you'll never get better but truth be told, there are so many folks out there who are battling much worse health problems. I tried not to lose perspective on that fact.

Hope all the Brooklyn Mantas are feeling nice 'n' sprightly. If not then big Southern hugs, man. :-)
