Death be not proud

My favorite little pizza joint closed, quietly and unceremoniously, after 15 years. They made the best pizza around this area, the finest salads, desserts, pastas, etc., and were friendly to everyone who walked in the door.

I miss my friends.

All my favorite restaurants are long closed now. Tortilla's is gone. The little bagel place that used to be where Osteria is in Va. Highlands.

Fortunately, Osteria is now my favorite restaurant. So maybe that second one is a wash.

Tortillas, yes! OMG, the Album 88 staff practically lived there back in the day. Best shrimp burritos and salsa ever in life, hands down. I miss that place so much.

And the little bagel place was MY hangout, too! Every Sunday morning before hosting "Blue Note," it was the coffee/bagel stop. How cool is it that we hit the same places? Great minds, my man...

Chris, what has happened to us? Where... where have the golden years gone? (sob)
